Star Dogs
Sierra
V OTCH U-UD Horsepower Hill Sierra UDX3 PT MJP AXP RE ASCA CD TDI
Sierra was my first Border Collie and the foundation of a lifelong love for the breed. She was an extraordinary partner who carried me from our very first steps in the Novice A ring all the way to the pinnacle of the sport: the Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH).
Together, we navigated the journey from a green team to an elite partnership. Sierra’s career was defined by consistent brilliance and versatility, punctuated by these historic milestones:
2003: Ranked #1 Novice A Herding Breed and #3 All-Breed Novice A dog nationally.
2006: Crowned All-Star Utility Champion.
A Legacy of Excellence: Multiple High in Trial and High Combined awards across every class and level.
Beyond the ribbons and titles, Sierra was an incredible girl who showed me what was possible with a Border Collie by my side. She didn’t just help me accomplish my goals; she was the heart of the journey and the reason I fell in love with this breed forever.
Cowboy
AKC/UKC CH OTCH U-CDX Marada Showdown UDX2 OM3 RE MX MXJ CGC
Cowboy was a true "total package" dog, proving that a Border Collie could excel in both form and function. He was my first conformation dog, and together we navigated the breed ring entirely owner-handled.
The highlight of his show career was finishing his Championship in spectacular fashion with a 5-point major at the BCSA-supported entry. Along the way, he picked up several impressive Breed wins over nationally ranked specials and earned a Group 3 placement, standing out amongst the best in the country.
Once he conquered the breed ring, Cowboy transitioned into an elite performance athlete. His career was marked by:
Achieving both his Conformation Championship (CH) and his Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH).
Elite Obedience: Earning his UDX2 and OM3, showing his precision and work ethic.
Agility Excellence: Achieving MX and MXJ titles, proving his versatility and speed.
Cowboy was a very special dog who took me to new heights in every arena we entered. He was the embodiment of the breed’s versatility, but more importantly, he was a loyal partner who gave his heart to everything I asked of him.
Ten
GCH CH OTCH10 U-CD Holther's Racin' Bye Ewe UDX7 OGM BN RAE2 OA OAJ PT STDsTen was, quite simply, the dog of a lifetime. A Grand Champion in the breed ring and a legendary OTCH10 in the obedience ring, he was the rare embodiment of perfection. His resume is a testament to his consistency and mastery:

The Pursuit of Perfection: In a remarkable display of precision, Ten earned three perfect 200 scores across three consecutive weekends—a feat that defines his legacy of excellence.
Championship Moments: Winner of the Open Division at the AKC Obedience Classic in Orlando.

Dallas
BISS GCH CH OTCH Rising Star's Rhinestones and Spurs UDX BN RN
Dallas is a force of nature—a "spitfire" with a bottomless work ethic and a presence that demands attention. She began her career by making history, finishing her Breed Championship with a Best in Show Specialty (BISS) win at the Nutmeg Border Collie Specialty while still in the puppy class.
That early brilliance was only the beginning. Dallas transitioned into the performance world with the same fire, reaching the pinnacle of the sport as an Obedience Trial Champion (OTCH). Her career was marked by extraordinary precision, highlighted by:
The AKC Classic: Winner of the Novice Division in Orlando, where she was also the Highest Scoring Border Collie with a perfect 200 score.
A Legacy of Perfection: Throughout her obedience career, she earned multiple High in Trial awards and numerous perfect scores, proving her consistency at the highest levels.
The Mother: Dallas’s greatness didn't stop with her own titles; she passed her incredible drive and talent to the next generation. She is the mother of two multiple GCH OTCH daughters, ensuring her legacy of excellence continues through her lineage.
Dallas is a rare gem who proved she could do it all—from the best in the breed ring to the best in the obedience ring—all with a spirit that never stops working.
Sailor Swift
GCHB CH OTCH5 Star Power's All The Way Up UDX5 OM9
Sailor Swift holds an incredibly special place in my heart. She was the first puppy born from the very first litter I bred, and from the beginning, she has surpassed every hope and expectation I had for her. She has grown into an extraordinary partner and an exceptional representation of everything I strive for in my breeding program and training philosophy.
Entirely owner-handled throughout her career, Sailor earned her Grand Champion Bronze in conformation, along with multiple Group placements in both the Owner-Handled Series and regular Group competition. Her success in the breed ring reflects the soundness, structure, presence, and confidence that have served her equally well throughout her performance career.
In obedience, Sailor has distinguished herself among the sport’s elite competitors. She has earned five Obedience Trial Championships (OTCHs), achieved more than nine perfect 200 scores in the regular classes, and accumulated more than 60 High in Trial and High Combined awards.
She has also proven herself on some of the biggest stages in the sport. Sailor finished in the Top 10 at the National Obedience Championship, where she was also honored as the Top Herding Dog. She has twice qualified for the Westminster Masters Obedience Championship Finals, earning a placement both times.
As proud as I am of everything Sailor has accomplished, her titles and awards tell only part of her story. What makes her truly extraordinary is the heart she brings to everything she does. She enters the ring with intensity, joy, and unwavering commitment, always ready to give me everything she has. Her athleticism and consistency are remarkable, but it is her enthusiasm for the work and her desire to be my partner that make competing with her so special.
Sailor embodies everything I strive to produce in a performance dog: sound structure, exceptional trainability, confidence, biddability, athleticism, and an undeniable love of working with her handler. She has exceeded my dreams as both a breeder and trainer, and I could not be prouder to call her my partner.
More than any title or accomplishment, Sailor is a reminder of why I fell in love with this sport in the first place. The greatest champions are not defined solely by what they win, but by the heart, joy, and partnership they bring to every moment along the way.
Xxtra
Rising Star's a Split More UD OM1
Xxtra has made an exciting entrance into the obedience world, quickly establishing herself as a talented and promising competitor. Currently working toward her Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH), she has already earned 11 High in Trial and High Combined awards, along with a perfect 200 score in Utility B.
She made an especially memorable debut on the national stage at the AKC Obedience Classic in Orlando, Florida, where she won the Novice division against a field of more than 90 competitors—an incredible beginning to what I hope will be a long and successful career.
Xxtra is the kind of dog who keeps me thinking. She challenges me to become a better, more creative trainer, constantly encouraging me to look beyond the obvious, think outside the box, and refine the way I communicate and train. Our journey hasn’t simply been about what I can teach her; Xxtra has taught me just as much in return. Because of that, every breakthrough and milestone we achieve together feels that much more meaningful.
What makes Xxtra especially fun is the personality behind all that talent. Outside the ring, she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of life. She approaches everything with enthusiasm, loves to have fun, and is always ready for whatever adventure comes next. She has a wonderful combination of heart, intelligence, energy, and joy that makes her both an exciting dog to train and an absolute pleasure to live with.
Xxtra’s story is still just beginning, and that may be the most exciting part. She continues to grow as a competitor while pushing me to grow alongside her, and I am incredibly proud of the partnership we are building.
I can’t wait to see just how far this special girl will take us.
